The board of directors team of covestro has appointed the supervisory board of Bayer Material Technology Co., Ltd. (future covestro Germany Co., Ltd.), and has appointed the members of the management board of future covestro, which will take effect on September 1st, 2015. Patrick Thomas (57) has been confirmed as the chairman of the management board of costron and the Global CEO of Bayer materials technology since 2007. Frank h. Lutz (46 years old), who joined Bayer materials technology in October 2014, will remain the CFO of covestro. In addition, he will replace Michael Bernhardt (48 years old) as the general manager of labor. Michael Bernhardt will leave the management board and take charge of the expanded human resources department of covestro
newly appointed to the management board are Dr. Klaus Sch low carbon steel and cast iron compression testing afer (52 years old) and Dr. Markus steilemann (45 years old). Dr. Xiaofeng will be in charge of the industrial operation Department (chief industrial operation officer) responsible for production and technology in the board of directors. Dr. Xerox will initially be responsible for innovation in the board of directors, and he will remain the head of the global polycarbonate business until December 31, 2015. From January 1st, 2016, he will be additionally responsible for the global polyurethane business department in the board of directors. Dr. Joachim Wolff, who is currently in charge of the global polyurethane business department, will retire on December 31, 2015. Daniel Meyer, the current head of the global coatings, adhesives and specialty chemicals department, will continue to be responsible for the operation of the business department. Dr. Klaus Schafer has been a member of the Executive Committee of Bayer materials technology since January 1st, 2015, and served as the director of the industrial operation Department. Dr. Xiao Feng was born in bluer, Germany on September 2, 1962. He majored in physics at the University of Cologne, Germany, where he received his doctorate.
